Why are you supporting segregation, division and the discrimination of Cypriots based on their ethnicity then?

This racist discrimination was imposed since the time of the Ottomans, when the population was divided between Muslims (Turks) with more rights and Christians (Greeks) with much less. 80 years after the end of Ottoman rule you again collaborated with foreign imperialists demanding the partition of Cyprus and you managed to force the racist 1960 agreements which again divided the population on the expense of the majority of Cypriots.

I am the one who supports that all Cypriots should be equal without any kind of racist discrimination and segregation, you support the opposite. So are you a fanatical nationalist?

Count me in!
I'm also a Cyprus nationalist.
Lets rid ourselves from T**** mentality
Lets rid ourselves from G**** mentality.
Have you noticed how our towns and cities are built with Europe's ugliest modern architecture, directly borrowed from G****??
Have you noticed our sporting interests and football fanatic hooligan culture directly borrowed from T**** and G****??
Have you noticed our chaotic road transport network, ( costing hundreds of young lives every year), sub standard roads, potholes. inferior infrastructure, directly borrowed from G**** and T****??
Have you noticed our incredible under achievements as a nation, solely and directly linked to the backward, scandalous and corrupt countries which we 'admire' and 'model' ourselves to??
Have you noticed??
Have you??

And by the way, we are not "all the same". We are people with personalities, so I would say we are all different.

The objective should not be to force everybody to be the same. The objective is to accept that we can have different race, different ethnicity, different language, different religion, different political beliefs etc, but that we can still be equal citizens.

Telling to the Greek Cypriots that they should abandon the ethnicity they had for thousands of years otherwise they will continue to be punished is an example of racism and intolerance against most people of this island.

It is about time to accept that we are not all the same and that we can have differences in ethnicity, language, religion etc, but these differences can not be used as an excuse for discrimination, segregation and human rights violations.

If we are all the same , why do we speak a different language and why do we have a different religious faith !

Piratis , I think you have totally misunderstood the title " WE ARE ALL THE SAME" .
Of course all people the world over are different to each other but you must understand that all people the world over are also the same !!
What makes us Greek Cypriots different to other Cypriots , is it our language , our religion our genes our culture or our outlook to life and its values . Take the language and religion out and there is not that much difference in Cypriots. Lets take values commonly shared such as dedication to families , proudness of our integrity , self respect , aspirations and ambitions for our off springs , cultural activities , moral values are all common traits of all Cypriots.
You may be a proud Greek Piratis I'm most certainly a proud Cypriot , which does not mean that I reject my Greek Cypriotness but that My Cypriotness reigns supreme above all else .

While touching on the subject of "ethnicity " what may I ask was Cyprus's ethnicity 3 , 4 ,5 or 6 thousand years ago , surely some Cypriot ethnicity exists today and if it does what is wrong with embracing the Cypriot ethnicity .
