British MP uncovered as a paid lobbyist of GCs

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Acikgoz » Tue Mar 23, 2010 3:20 pm

It does point to an underlying issue: when conteplating the GC lobby activities (significant in comparison to TC - which pretty much amount to zero) it shows how influencing is a major weapon "bought" to bear on the Cyprus problem. With the desire to exert external pressure, instead of dealing with the local issues objectively, it achieves nothing but perpetuate bias that undermines legitimate problem solving actions.

What TC lobby activities and green horses? Just like you've got Turkey fighting your wars, the same way you've got Turkey's lobby group paying your bribes

Every country looks after its interests and this has no bearing on the offer but rather those accepting. Of course one can only imagine how much worser UK policy would be without these "brown envelopes".

Masallah !

The Turkish government has consistently lavished millions each year on well-connected Washington lobbying firms--including those employing former House leaders--which contacted offices of the lower chamber 1,468 times, according to an analysis of data from Foreign Lobbying Influence Tracker of disclosures filed in 2008 by firms under the Foreign Agent Registration Actnearly twice that of the second-highest country, Libya.

Maybe you should read the links then and think about how comfortable the GC mothers were in tents in 74.

they have seen your mothers in the tents but they never saw the TC mothers in 1963-1967......

no need to read links ..... live through and see the realities. I have seen and i lived .

How it is the world .If u have money and interest they care about you.

UN was same UN at 63 and 74 ....world organisations was same as 63 and 74 .... they all worked only for oneside. TC's have been ignored always by everybody but we didn't die still we are in life. We will struggle till we get our rights and equality which has been stolen from us . Keep buying them....MASALLAH to those bought people.

haaa from my words do not think that i am saying u are deserved....never, never again that such a things must be done in Cyprus.

The report was about British MP'S (Plural) taking holidays (paid for by others unknown) abroad. Cyprus was on the list of destinations and it so happens that A.Dismore was one of the offenders (allegedly).

Your spin on the report just goes to show your desperation in shovelling shit about the GCs. Now F.O.

Sorry to see that like the thick individuals worldwide you have to resort to profanities. It is a shame that you weren't on the television with your response it would have done the GC argument equal damage.

It is not , no doubt, what you want to hear but the fact is that the television news report yesteday evening made particular mention of one MP only and this was Dismore . The news pointing out that he raised questions on many occasions after his return from paid for trips to southern Cyprus was not propaganda but viewers, whether millions or only hundres of thousands were left in no doubt of the tricks GCs use.
