These will be easy pickings for the CNG’s T-80Us which are faster, have a 125mm gun, and can hit the M48 about a kilometer before they can!

There should be 82 T-80U. The French AMX-30 is also light years ahead of the M48 of which the CNG has 52 AMX-30s and 102 AMX-30B2s!
