We were fine before the borders opened so closure would not cause to many problems plus the ecomonic flow to tbe south would stay north.

it does bring a lot of money to the north but that money gets taken mostly back to turkey..

but the green bored trading and lots of gcs who run tot he north to buy every little thing shopping and smokes and all their needs and tourists who come from the south to north to visit, tones of tourists who visit their home and bus load of gcs who visit places in the north like apostolos antreas and the turkish have tones of tents filled up and charge us for the holy water they make lots much more then if the green line was closed. it benefits mostly the turkish side.

though we do get a tone of turks shopping in the south spending cash thoguh the tc side has a limit on how much they can bring

You really need to look at some figures only then will you realize we spend more in the south with our smaller numbers than you do in the north.
