Is It Still Genocide if Your Allies Did It?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

in some ways i agree i dont see what recognising it will prove it will just bring up tensions and hate, something that happened so a long time ago now

Its a pity it has become part of world politics. While Turkey had the support of America everything Turkey did was good. Now Turkey has fallen out with Israel America has turned its back on Turkey. Remember Americas support for Saddam Hussein. Super Powers my 'backside'.

yes i remember, for the armenians it will be a great victory and justice for them to have the genocide recognised by everyone. yet another thing the world recognises and turkey refuses to..

America was mroe pro turkey when they had bush but they wanted them only for their positioning to iraq and their army men and when they are done with them that was it just like with any other country they took the oil and started wars, worse then what turkey did in 1974 imo but without the rape

To officially highlight to the world the barbarians that you are and to pay tribute to the poor souls your forefathers slaughtered, fuckwit.

In Cy, 2 couple of hundred TCs get killed and its genocide in your eyes, but when you massacre 2 million + people its a nothing!

You should be bowing your head in shame and at the very least apologies for turkeys behaviour not shoot down the people trying to get this horrendous crime publicised.

B25 you obviously do not know what happened in 1915 automatically condemning the Turks just because you hate Turks.

thats what i said also Vp.. probably nothing but peace of mind for the armenians instead of turkeys denials.. and along the line make relations with many countries become very bad with turkey and expell many armenians from turkey and hurt ties between the turks and armenians raise tensions and old feelings

but it happened and it is not something that should be ignored or denied so they can final put it in the past and get over it

no the turks probably did worse to the armenians and millions of them then when a few of them died in japan or wherever it was they called it a kind of genocide lol yet millions of armenians was part of war,, excuses

but maybe the past should just be left burried it wont do a lot of good to keep bringing up the past

there was war in cyprus also, the gc where supposed to sit back and let the turkish cypriots kill them?

the army men who raped little girls from ages 13 to old ladies 50 and call it a PEACE operation? the turks did much worse like muirder families infront of their family and make them watch.. tcs are not all innocent

The only problem is, Turkey is now threatening to expel 100,000 Armenians from Turkey as a retaliation. This has to be one of the dumbest ideas Erdogan has come up with . Doesn't he see what he is doing.? He is implanting a vision into the worlds eyes, that if Modern Turkey today can expel 100,000 Armenians from Turkey as a retaliation, what was to stop the Ottoman Empire to cause the deaths of 1.5 Million Armenians directly or indirectly. It will only reinforce in the world's mind, that if Modern Turkey can be ruthless to expel 100,000 Armenians, what was to stop ruthless Ottomans to slaughter 1.5 million Armenians. This has to be one of the biggest political blunders Turkey has made in recent times, by far worse than the occupation of northern Cyprus.!

Turkey is cutting her own throat here by giving other countries reason/excuse to pass their own "Armenian Genocide" recognition.!
