The Ever Youthful Cypriots ...

Postby Oracle » Wed Mar 17, 2010 11:15 am

A recent survey revealed that people in the UK consider the end of Youth to be at 35 years old, and the start of old age as 58 years old.

But, Cypriots confine the end of Youth as late as 45 years old!

Is this a fair assessment?

How youthful do you feel? 8)

When I heard that this morning on the wireless  sorry, radio, I burst out laughing.

In my days, if one did not die of lead poisoning, you lived to a ripe old age of 90 and you still considered yourself young. Only in a coffin they referred to you as an old man.

Now at the youthful age of 64 yrs and 3 months, people already call me 'the old codger'. Little do they know.

They were discussing it on BBC news today while going over the newspaper headlines and as parenthese mentioned that following Brussels imminent regulation coming up for Hedge Funds in London, they foresee the new European centre for asset management as being Cyprus. :D

 bloody scientists!

If Brussels and the FSA (financial regulatory body of the UK) place more stringent regulation on the financial services industry in London (which is the worlds biggest along with New York) then there is a chance these firms will be looking at Cyprus as a new base.

Are they gambling on life expectancies? :?

What does it have to do with "Youth"?

Are Hedge Fund managers more youthful for longer? :?

Where's the link between Fiscal facilities and feeling feisty?

Almost 64 and feel like a ....21 year old until that is I begin the long effort to stand up after consuming a glass or two !!!
I begun to feel my age from around 60 , because I'm , like most products of Stroumbi the Great , blessed with ..exceedingly good looks and an abundance of other virtues such as a conceited approach to life and the ability of look at the mirror once a week when I shave and see George staring at me , Clooney that is !!!
