ERDOGAN `EARLY SOLUTION IS POSSIBLE`

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

ERDOGAN `EARLY SOLUTION IS POSSIBLE`

Postby halil » Tue Mar 16, 2010 3:21 pm

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that the Cyprus issue has entered into a critical stage and that an early solution could be brought to the Cyprus problem if the Cyprus Turkish Side’s efforts were given a positive response. Mr Erdogan was speaking at Esenboga Airport before leaving for London where he will meet with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and attend the Turkey-British Business Forum.

He also voiced Ankara’s full support to a settlement to be found within the framework drawn up by the joint statement issued by the two leaders on the 23rd of May, 2008.

but what kind of a solution is this guy talking about? two states? a solution could be possible today if both sides could agree on whats a solution to the problem we have in cyprus, and some of the turkish generals dont they say there is no cyprus problem and it was solved in 1974 attack on cyprus?
