The removal of the British bases have begun.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I do believe the contribution of the land from at least one of the bases will considerably facilitate an easing of the property debacle on both sides of the island. Both bases would provide a complete cure, though I cannot help bu think there is some net positive contribution.

I'll have you know that Dikelya base is built on Efkaf land. It's all coming back to TRNC if the Brits leave.

That's great, you can move the settlers there as its conveniently fenced off and give the GCs back their villages.

They are religous, and it belongs to Efkaf so not a bad idea. Every one is happy.

How can having a stab at people, even when they are not being derogatory or even constructive, be so instinctive?

It's an interesting topic, one that I actually know very little about, so thanks G for raising it. Thank you YFred I didn't know that about Dikelya.

Yeah get them out .......... then it can be turned into another overdeveloped shithole with lousy roads, litter everywhere, roadside car scrapyards and crappy taverna's selling second rate food at ludicrous prices
Then fill 50% of the concrete boxes that will be built with coffin dodging old Brits and badly dressed russians dripping in gold, with the other 50% empty or unsold.
Finally rename the 2 bases NeoPaphos and Neopegia !!!!!

Hey presto another Cyprus success story
