Am I the only one who finds this topic wholly unsavoury and the contributors lacking in sensitivity?

Maybe yiou should be asking where he and so many other young Cyopriots get the means to purchase these 'Boy racer' vehicles that encourage these youngsters to play Rally/Grand Prix drivers up and down the Paphos sea front; all kitted out with massive exhaust pipes, go faster stripes and big boot lid handles.

Perhaps parents should think twice about helping their sons to buy such dangerous cars. The insurance companies should price them off the road as well.

I fail to see how my comment is related to apathy.

Seems to me, you are the ones ignoring reality and speculating on fantasy, more akin to those who knew the facts of the holocaust but believed the Jews asked for it!

In the past few years I have seen an increase in the use of hand held speed camera,s by the police in Cyprus but in my opinion they check in the wrong places, they always seem to be on the motorways ect,and not on city streets where these idiots can cause carnage, I,m not saying it,s ok to speed on motorways but it it is safer

Like the UK, the police see speeding motorists as a method of generating revenue. It has nothing to do with road safety.
