I am no lawyer, agent or anything in that capacity for Turkey or the TRNC.

I am just fed up with the idiocy that is often raised to keep TCs oppressed.

While waiting for Bill, how about you B25?

Not really sure why waiting for me. ... but will say one or two things further...

Things will improve with the removal of the 6 month rule.
If they don't go to ECHR with a test case, and the RoC will back down as it did with Sofi.

No don't work for any lawyers or was that addressed to B25?

Now some of us are very happy for all tissies to get their prop rights respected, but fear some here would rather some of us didn't get ours back.

What's right for some, is right for all. Anyone not agree with this????. Are we going to help one another out with this?????

We look forward to the day with anticipation but without holding our breath. May your god hear you and mine strike you reh bello Billo villo

"What was the population of Tc in Varosha?" asks DTA

As a resident of Varosi I can tell you with authority that the TC population pre 1974 was ZERO. The TCs lived inside the old city walls and owned a few shops just outside the walls, near the hospital. Correspondingly no GCs lived inside the walls.

For a historic perspective of the population, settlement and customs of the area, read the relevant parts in Thomson's book on Cyprus written in 1878.

No doubt, so were also no Bodamyali's in Bodamya in 1974. Does it follow logically that no Bodamyalis owned any land in Bodamya. Hell NO. The reason I suspect they deserted their homes in 63 and never felt secure enough to return like most other TCs all over Cyprus. You'll find they all moved to the north soon after.
Where's that eshek DT when we need an argument?
