Well how about that, I've been here since 1571 and I'm still told to fuck off back to Turkey every 5 minutes. Am I a Cyp or not?

At the very least, the "Greek" language and Christian religion went to Greece from Cyprus so quit pinching credit from my country!

This is where you idiocy lets you down (again).

The predominant culture was Greek. Hard to digest?

Then, bugger off!

Are you saying that the Hittite culture was a greek culture?

What a fuckwittless brain you have.

For sure the Hittites were related to the early Greeks.

But by the time Cyprus was fully (recordable) Greek (about 12,000 BCE) the slight variations towards Hittites, introduced later, were minimal and the two integrated such as YOU never have.

The puzzle is why you think this is worthy of mention as it is not a problem to the history of Cyprus ... whereas you clearly are!

As I said, are there any Hittites disputing the Turks do NOT belong on Cyprus?

Different language/culture/gods/ etc etc etc etc, in what way were they similar to greeks

where do you get that from, because the first recorded 'empire' (although there were people before them in cyprus as well) was the Hittites the Greeks come later.

They assimilated the Hitties it seems, what are you to say about that?

Are there any Hittites disputing the integrity and independence of Cyprus?

Answer my questions above (both of them) and I will answer yours if you have strength in your convictions.

Start using your brain.

So you have no strengths in your convictions then?

My convictions are fine. Hittites came and went. Any few remnants integrated/assimilated. None around to dispute Cyprus' integrity.

What is a mystery is how you think you are making any valid points when you do not have a clue about the relationships of the ancient cultures since you Turks did not appear on the scene until thousand and thousands of years after these other cultures battled it out, and sorted it out!

Yes I agree I am a Cypriot and so are you, and we both have equal claim be such. But you speak Greek and I speak Turkish - both of those are not the originial languages of cyprus, and both are not the original cultures of cyprus

So what shall we do?

Don’t get your knickers in a twist point Dexter!

I’m an INDIGENOUS Cypriot (none of that Greek pseudo-Cypriot gimmick shit) and you came here uninvited as an Ottoman!

Now 400+ years later, you still haven’t settled down because you still refuse to acknowledge my indigenousness and culture by forever getting me confused with Greek manure that came here later!

Being Cypriot is about acknowledging and embracing the indigenous culture, and not trying to refashion it into something that resembles Anatolia!

Just because the Turks had not yet arrived in the near east does not mean YOU can claim that all the peoples of the Levant and the Mediterranean were ethnically Greek.  No wonder GR loves you...NOT!!
