How many TCs lived outside the protection of the enclaves ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Considering the total population of TCs on the, the figure above is a high percentage. We cannot ignore any killings off hand. Its a shame many do not admit to their own killing machines.

Only idiots would not see the evil which unleashed the events of 1974.

Damn them all.

Deniz, I created this thread to counter this argument....

Between 1967 and 1974, was any TC community, specifically the ones outside of enclaves, subjected to an attack by an armed GC gang ?

Do the figures in the table for those years reflect isolated incidents or not ?

Hey Oracle, where are your facts on EOKA -B.
Come on. Let's see what nutjobs like you put infront of politicians like Villiers while they are drinking your free booze and chomping down the calamar.

You would do better explaining why the coup took place?
What was it's aims?
What were they planning for the TCs?
You may then make some progress.

SO we're taking sources from ATCA now and basing arguments on them? We all know the headcountof the dead in both GC's and TC's. Greekforumer has shown a large amount of naivety by taking something from ATCA and posting it here as fact.

Plenty more reliable sources that we've all agreed upon in the past.

Feel free to create threads addressing each of those questions separately.

There is a simple but important question that is the subject of this thread.

"How many TCs lived outside the protection of the enclaves and how many of those were killed?"

Well, how about a link to this "agreed upon" data ?

I have been advised by an unreliable GC source that around a third of TCs lived outside of the enclaves in the period 1967-1974.

I'm still waiting for an estimate from TC sources.

Did the Red Crescent/Red Cross/UN know how many TCs were in enclaves ?

Perhaps the casualty figures reflect how proactive the TCs were in preparing the stage for Turkey's promised taksim plans?

The way things stand today, your guilt is written everywhere!

Gulp!!!

Have you tried dancing to the Tango alone? It takes two.

You have an action and then a reaction. Lets leave it at that, there is no need to go through the 'Krebbs Cycle' again. (the 'Inborn Errors of Metabolic Pathways' one). We will never agree to who begat what, will we. It is inconsequential anyway.

Big mistake to bring up Krebs ( 8) ) ... The GCs can indeed be likened to the TCA cycle, going about their natural, energetic business, highly localised, until beset by invading poisons (1080 perhaps?)! Would these poisons then complain it takes two to tango and the metabolic pathway should never have existed?

Besides, if you wanted to dance with us, you should first learn to stop stepping on our toes ...

Many farmers and old people were killed prior to 1974 (if not immediately prior to). Those that were killed in the Kophinou incident in 1967 were not saved though they were in an enclaved. Most of the rest were not in enclaves. Some were murdered in their villages, some were simply tending to their flocks or tilling their lands. To me it does not make one iota of a difference where they were killed. A few did die fighting protecting their villages; there is no doubt about that.

The TCA cycle might be enough for GC alone but when you have GC + TC + n, its even worse than the 'Inborn errors'.

I thought youd be nimble enough to avoid being stepped upon. I cant help if I have large feet and three legs - which are out of control.
