Any mycologists out there?

They look OK to me, but is it edible?

I will not accept answers from paphitis, Yfronts, etc.

Frankly, they are not worth the risk!

Even if you tried them out on a guinea-pig first, like halil, :D .... you may still have to wait a few years to see if the liver has failed.

I think I'll just cook a couple for the wife to try.

Pity there is no photo of the profile with a clue to the size. If the centre is slightly pointed, they are edible, but if you are in doubt leave it out. Its risky identifying wild mushrooms like that. If you had a photo in profile, it could be a 'fairy ring' which makes a lovely soup.

Never take risks.
