Of course, there was no PTSD then – he had ‘nerves’ and was left to deal with it on his own… he suffered severe depression, had several ‘nervous breakdowns’ and eventually hanged himself when I was 21…

Go figure…

Sorry to hear that CG :(

These things shouldn't have to happen in the first place. Let's hope we learn and never subject our young to these experiences ever again.

But... in the face of an aggressor like Hitler our response was surely right...?

After all, if it wasn't for the like of my dad we'd all be speaking German now... those that were approved of anyway...?

It's a hefty price he (and you) paid ... either die at the hands of the aggressor; or die later by your own hands (but directly attributable to the aggressor, IMHO) ....

Sorry CG, from me to you! Truly ....

There is a medical DR in the Yfred clan and she has the cure for PTSD.

For a small consideration I am willing to divulge the cure.

sky-pro have you tried tranquilizers !! it works like magic for post trauma.. of course you have to speak with your doctor but their is a study shown that using antideprission medication "tranquilizers" cures almost `%70 of post trauma and prevents relaps..

i was speaking with my doctor yesterday and he thinks if you post traumatic and you no longer find the pills a releave it means that you are either taking the wrong meds or you need therapy to go along with it.

he also says the meds you use depends on how long have you been suffering from post trauma, severe case are the ones who are dealing with an issue that hapend more than 4-5 years ago "thats when u use meds" if you are going through mild episodes you doont need drugs as you need support.
