I won’t vote ‘yes’ again

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Again the insinuation that the A Plan meant no compromise or loss on the part of TC at all. It contained no risk to TC security, the return of no land currently under TC control, the movement of no TC from homes they have lived in and invested in finacialy an emotionaly for 30 years, no effective reduction in the level of power the TC community vs the 60's agreements (let alone vs what we have today), no risks that after the intial phase the TCCS would become dominated by GC. No none of that was in the plan was it. There was no reason for TC to even consider rejecting it was there?

Well I voted no to the annan plan. I rejected it because it was ill thought out, rushed and designed to meet the requirments of the rest of the world and not Cypriots. Did my no vote make you mad? Did it help to convince you that TC do not want a solution and just want to gain at GC loss because we are all theives? If not mine then why all the others?

MaC

you're not taking into account tactical voting, some voted no when they wanted yes, and vice versa. Some saw it as an opportunity to say other things as well. Erolz is an example, and he gave his reasons.
others did likewise for other reasons.

The letter is a good example of current TCs views and even youngsters who voted yes are now viewing unification more sceptically and questioning the real desires of GCs.

Of course there was no reason, thats why I said 80%. I left some 20% out for the crazy ones, the ones who profit from division, and for the constant denialists, and for those who knew the outcome would be yes but wanted to deminish it as much as possible.

No you voted NO because you thought the two communities were not in a possition to live together so early, and the necessary understanding building process was missing. You forgot your own reasons Erol? This is what happens when someone gets lost in huge posts....

Right, but this is common in every voting, ennen? Yet the 65% was too low. Compare it with the 75% of the GCs to see what I mean.In ideal conditions a non balanced proposal should get equal percentage of YES and NO from both sides. Of course I could assume the real will of the TCs was distorted by the vote of the settlers so in the end perhaps the real voting of the TCs was in fact 75%. If this is true then I am almost satisfied.

No reason why a GC would think a TC should have voted no perhaps. A bit like us not understanding why you voted no?

Er thanks for telling me why I voted no! Actualy you reasons why I voted no and my reasons are the same. Not in position to live togeather so early = rushed. So just to be clear then I am in the 20% of nutters for voting no as far as you are concerned?

Is that what happened to you perhaps when you asked for an appology from me for saying that you had said GC had a right to kill to achieve self determination - when in fact what you had said was GC had a right to kill to achieve self determination ? ;)

I'd appreciate an honest answer, do TC really not see why the GC community voted against the plan?

Yes, most of the TCs are aware of why GCs voted no to Annan Plan: It does not provide for them the 3 famous Rs which their leadership promised them in the last 3 decades.

yes well at least these leaders are from the same country as them as opposed to TCs leaders who are sitting comfortably in Ankara (or maybe sweating profusely at the moment)

sorry but idiotic responses get idiotic comments.

Still insist on your wrong doing Erol, of quoting me saying things that I never said and distorting my words or replacing them with words that suit you? Man, since it's so important for you to classify people in here why don't you create a file in your computer with rows and columns, rather than quoting from memory? You ve been proved wrong in the other thread yet you carry on, and on, and on spreading your false everywhere in the forum.... Whats is this, some kind of a spreading mud game?
