Thing is YFred,he/they are beyond help and I dont like seing people suffering like that.IF I WAS in his/their condition,I'd rather someone put me out of my misery.There comes a point when one is beyond help/heal/repair.

Yeah but, as much as a sub-human that he is, that kind of practice is only applied to animals. To be honest to describe GR as an animal is actually doing a disservice to the animal kingdom. They wouldn't have him.

You may think just because Turkey is a big military power, it can impose it's will to the rest of the nations in the region, including Europe.

It's a mistake. Turkey's bid to join the EU is impeded by the long history of bullish behaviour which continues up to this date.

The only way to fix that is to reform Turkey into a nation with human values respected by all nations. Turkey must change within. The political/military forces in Turkey are in turmoil, and sad to say, will always be. Therefor, change is very difficult, if not impossible.

As long as this situation continues, the door to EU will stay closed. If Turkey wishes to enter the EU, she must play by EU rules, not Turkish rules.

Bir may be right. I read another thread by him mentioning that Turkey may not want to enter the EU later in time and withdraw it's application. . Very interesting indeed.

And I ask:

Why Turkey wants to join the EU?

Is it just money?

If Turkey is doing well as is, why change and enter EU?

Why try to fix something that is not broken?

Is there something broken? If yes... what?

Give me real answers with specifics, not speculation or politically motivated statements. If you don't know the answers to the above, refrain from commenting.

All of the above have nothing to do with Cyprus. The issue here is Turkey it self. Leave Cyprus out of this.
