Have had pedigree dogs for most of my life and I think the asking price for your Yorkshire Terrier pups sounds very reasonable. I paid more than double that for a pedigree Retriever some time ago.

There are two types of dog lovers : the ones who want to breed pure and mentally stable as well as physicall perfect breeds and the ones who rescue those who were thrown away because they are not pure-not healthy-not needed ( u can of course mention something here as there are pedigree dogs as well in shelters) . I did not see many people who kick out good pure dog/cat trained and healthy.

Pure breeding is a hell of a job- shows-certificates and nevertheless not every dog is perfect for pure quality breeding and can be sold even for 100 euros.

Just do not buy- go rescue..two different stories.

Just to add more oil in fire- i bought my dog for 3 500 EUR . Because his blood lines are world champins ..and just to breed with him is 1000 EUR .l Snd yes we do have clients and yes the pups are sold for big amounts- and we do have waiting list for puppies from all over the world . People just want a good companion- mentally stable-not sick-the one you can share your life for the next 10-17 years with - and for good dog you got to pay ...like a good car..
