What are the pros and cons of bringing a laptop from the USA apart from the eletricity diffrence.

If I was to but another power adptor (240 V) will that be ok?

The prices are alot cheaper and the specs much better

What are your views?

Thanks in advance

Power supplies are mostly 'universal'... you'd have to cut the plug off and fit a UK one...

Apart from that I can't think of a reason not to...

Are you going to the 'States...? I know we've discussed this before but you might get stuck for duty and VAT if you import one...
