What does amaze me is the two tier price scale here, i.e. local versus tourist(stranger) .I know this because I pay local prices,if the business can survive on local prices why not a standard price for all? I am sure when they buy their stock it is a standard prices .

Isn't there a consumer and trading standards department to bust scammers like this?

I know what you mean, I didn't expect anything in the north but you'd have thought the municipalities in the south would have tried a bit of enforcement, especially since the EU. Is there no public or political pressure for decent regulation?
