Our opinions mean very little when there is no UN resolution or international trial about US War Crimes!

The US has a veto on UN security council resolutions, and does not subject itself to international courts. Does this mean that by definition it is incapable of committing war crimes?

So I ask you again: do you believe that the My Lai Massacre occurred, and serves as an example of a war crime committed by the US military, or do you not?

Yes! It is not a war crime that you can attribute to the nation.

As an abstract entity, a "nation" is not directly capable of committing a war crime, only individuals are capable, from the President right down to the grunt in the field. When the apparatus of a nation train soldiers, give them weapons and ammunition, put a flag patch on their uniforms, and send them overseas, that nation is solely responsible for their actions. It is not a war crime when a single US Army unit acts outside its own chain of command, and when the US Army has taken action to court martial all involved, meaning that the US did not condone this act of barbarism.

And being a member of the Security Council does not absolve the US from allegations of War Crimes against the Geneva Convention. I believe it is the International Criminal Court! So provide a link of a solitary case where the US has been tried and convicted by the ICC.
