NICOSIA - The Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CyBC) began broadcasting its trial digital transmission on Tuesday.

Viewers with a set-top box or a digital television will be able to receive the channels CyBC2, CyBC2, ERTWorld and Euronews on the frequency UHF33.

Wasnt talking about HD, just that not all UK is digital yet. The analogue signal will no longer be available. They are going digital by 2012. So not all TV's will be able to get HD till everyone gets the digitalsignal. If you get Sky or other broadband networks, then thats a different kettle of fish.

Well, you see, Cyprus is ahead of the UK. Some areas of the UK, will not go digital till 2012. Good for Cyprus.
