Heart-warming, they didn't have to do that.......

Awww! What a 'feel good' bit of news that is.

*I did note the cleaner would have to carry on working for them? But I bet she loves her job - working for lovely people like that.

I am glad you posted this. It's like getting your wallet returned to you intact when you dropped it somewhere!

Hey! Talisker!

The lottery winning couple were described as 'the biggest ever winners'.

My guess is that the cleaner thinks she is the 'biggest ever winner'. She didn't even buy the winning ticket!

Oh this is a lovely bit of news.

As far as I am concerned, England was & still is the enemy of Cyprus.

I don't disagree with your view about that where the 'carpetbaggers' are concerned. (Despite Oracle accusing me of being one - I can assure you I am not).

But it is hardly likely that the 'biggest ever lottery winners' would decide to live in N. Cyprus anyway.

It attracts those who would love to live in 'Cyprus' but, for the main part, cannot afford to buy in the South.

And all the flannel they give about 'loving it there' is just that - flannel.

There is sod all to do there unless you are in the heart of Kyrenia.

I've seen the "Oram" villa on the newspapers... this is a mansion! These people could easily afford to build in the south... they have the money... but they are cheapskates when they chose the north, that's all!!!

If I won 56 million I wouldn't even know what to do with it :/

Too much money makes your life end fast.

It is not known whether the Kelsos have been gifted ownership of the property or are being allowed to live there rent-free.

Not a big deal if the second. They didn't need to sell or rent, and they wanted somebody to keep their old house clean. Their cleaner will now keep it clean without being paid for this.
