I wish he is Cypriot but "Sotiropoulos" sounds like of Greek mainland decent, probably diaspora, 2nd or 3rd generation. Nice to see a guy like him participating and winning in the MMA, a sport dominated by Brazilians.

During the interview, when the fight ended, he spoke perfect "Australian", so he must be born in Australia from Greek parents... This guy will go far but will run out of time (32 years old).
