Property Purchase

Postby simba » Mon Mar 01, 2010 1:43 pm

Hello
Can anyone tell me how I can find out some information regarding a recent purchase.
The development is way over due, we have snagging that has not been undertaken after 6 months and are generslly not happy.
We paid 15% at beginning and 75% has been drawn down from the mortgage there is now 5% from both us and the mortgage to pay. Can we at this stage withdraw from this purchase, loose our initial 15% and not continue with the purchase?
We are not sure who we can ask or if this is an option - if anyone has useful advice or knows where we can get this it would be most appreciated.
Thanks.

If you are using the services of a lawyer recommended to you by the developer, then it is almost certain that they will be in cahoots.

A lot obviously depends on the specific terms of the agreement that you entered into.
