How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

That sounds like a general statement. Did they cross the Green line or not and when and by how much?
You have my permission to shoot them down if they stray from the TRNC airspace.

During Taurus 1999 a plane performed a mock bombing run on Paphos airport, and sometime in August an F16 passed low over a Green line guardpost in the very general Lefka/Astromeritis area.
Better?

That was 11 years ago. Anything more recent? But they should not cross the green line. That's clearly wrong and is trying to intimidate.
Please also note that Taurus means attack in the old turkish lingo.

I'm not an air traffic controller, so I have to stick with the specifics I know. Turkey always plays power politics, and they bully into airspace regularly- not nearly as much as with Greece and the Aegean. They've also been hassling the seismic boats looking for gas, seeing as in a bizarre turn of events they somehow feel they have a right to part of the possible reserves South and South West of Cyprus.

There was a short 'lull' in her rantings back there. I was wondering if she had ventured away from her warrior keyboard station to go and source an anti aircraft gun and shoot the buggers down herself as the authorities, police, border controls and just about everyone else obviously isn't doing anything about it!

That "load of old bull" was official RoC regulations, windbag, and I hope they come and take you away in the night to teach you a lesson for all the crimes you sound like you are laughingly committing in your host country!

You have seriously lost the plot mate!

Take me away in the night? Haaaaa!

And make your mind up - two minutes ago you said my host country was the TRNC!

And, more to the point, most of what I posted to prove you WRONG was lifted from OFFICIAL RoC WEBSITES!

And from the Horse's Mouth. Border Crossing Police, CyVisa Authorities. WADDEVER.

But you don't LIKE IT. Therefore you don't BELIEVE IT.

You really should just get out and GET TO KNOW YOUR OWN COUNTRY.

I obviously know it a lot better than you do. And have obviously travelled over and seen more of it than you have. And talked to more reasonable, ordinary, SANE, people living in it than you have.

You have only one tune. And it is wearing out.

Gasman, your 650 odd contributions have been little more than methane emission for the CyProb so far! Do you think you can concentrate on the Cyprus Problem instead of the incessant personal obsession with Oracle?

If you can’t help yourself then just take it to general section or something…

No Get Real! Because she started this. Attacked me from just about my very first post.

And, as I've said to her - who are YOU to tell me where I can and cannot post?

Now back to what the EU should take more seriously.

It makes me laugh out loud to see Oracle going on and on about the EU and how Cyprus is now a proud 'modern' EU country.

Most other countries in the EU never stop moaning about being in the club!

I think she has over high expectations of the EU membership.

And perhaps should turn her thoughts to all the areas in which Cyprus is not complying with EU regs!

They've been fined millions of Euros since joining. And they have a long way to go before they can claim to be on a par with some of the 'modern' member countries.

Oh - especially now the five years or so they were granted during which they could stick to their own rules are up.
