Military - 771,844
Civilians - 2,150,000 - that is a lot of innocent people.

[...snip...]

All stats can be found here of all nations losses:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_ ... statistics

Yes it most certainly is a lot of innocent people.

You really are a turkey. Have a look at the footnote in that table in the Wikipedia article for the civilian casualties in the ottoman empire:

wikipedia wrote:Ottoman civilian deaths during World War I were 2,150,000 [36] [16]. Civilian losses were caused by famine, disease which resulted in the deaths of about 1.5 million Armenians.[28]

So of your 2.15 million civilian casualties, 1.5 million were Armenians killed by the ottomans themselves.

Class dismissed!

the Hatays???   Get your facts straight old lady:

The province was annexed from, what was then, the province of Syria (part of the Ottoman Empire) by France after World War I. France became the mandatory power in Syria and Lebanon, with self governed Alexandretta sucumbing to its military control as part of this mandate. Although geographically part of Syria, in 1938, the province declared its independence from French-ruled Syria changing its name to Hatay. This took place despite France's mandatory responsibility to maintain the unity of Syrian lands (article 4 of the mandate). On the 29th June 1939, the parliament of the newly declared Hatay Republic voted to join Turkey.

Let that be a lesson to every idiot that seeks recognition of the"TRNC". As I said many times, the moment "TRNC" is recognized, it will become a turkish province the next day.

Idiot is the one who aims minority status for TCs.

If you are not the majority you are the minority. But a dufus like you cannot understand it!

If you are independent, you are not the minority. Suck it malak.

Watch your language boy. Don't forget you are like a son to me, since I fucked your mama.

Who fucked whom? Weren't you the one fleeing Güzelyurt in 1974 with your tail in your legs? YOU WILL NEVER RETURNNNNNNNN. Suck it malak.

No, the way I remember it, I paid your mama and then left.

Did I piss you off? :D Truth hurts!

Here comes the Gayreek

Even a National Georaphic interview of Kemal Ataturk condemning these horrid crimes purpotrated against the Armenians and Assyrians but what would he know??? I am sure he must have made it up since he didnt live through this period and loved the ottomans blindly

Did he apologize? or did he say thats part of war?

Mustafa Condemed it and said it was carried out by criminals.

So it was carried out by criminals and not modern Turkey

What's the difference?

The difference is Epi is that do we blame the RoC for the criminal acts of EOKA B, or any other band of irregular murderers? Thats the point.

And yes many Armenians did die unnecessarily on these death marches, like so many innocent Ottoman subjects. We cannot downplay these deaths. It is unacceptable.

You undestanding of the English language has a lot to be desired Runaway. You may well pat yourself on the back.

But your constantly calling Oracle names as you do shows your perverse nature. You have not got the guts to challenge and insult our male Cypriot brothers, but only insult a female sister. I think you are a pervert and get kicks out of it.

If you had a sister in the same situation, living in an occupied country where the terrors of war was visited on her people, you would only then understand the way Oracle fights her battles.

Its time you grow up and conduct yourself in a more understanding way. But that would be too difficult for you wouldnt it. A woman is an easy prey.

Black-beard, its time you went forth and multiplied. On the otherhand, youd better not. One of you is more than enough.

What's this Black-beard, you mean Karasakal?
You must admit, Oracle does deserve it. She is nuts and should seek urgent help from men with white coats.

More distortion.

Ethnically cleanse - yes

Murder - no

death during war - yes

Merhaba AussieTurk; Mustafa Kemals condemnation of the deaths of these poor innocents is evidence enough isnt it? If these deaths did not happen, then what exactly was he condemning?

If that is indeed the case, who can you blame but the invasion and brutalisation of her homeland.

Surely you are not going to condone such personal insults. I think its rather below the belt.

O.rospu is the most hated member of the forum and you know it better than me. And calling me karasakal is a bit ironic as I am whiter than you rum dölü and your rum brothers and for many Istanbulians you are a dark Cypriot gypsy who has lost his identity serving the enemy. We only pity you. You can bark as much as you like, we are the rulers and you are the outsider. I mean look at yourself, you are exiled to UK.

I see you have a nervous disposition. You better get it seen to.

I am a Cypriot, a Turkish speaking Cypriot and am proud of it. Where I choose to live has no bearing on our methods of conversation. I'd rather like to think that I live in a civilised society rather than a barbaric mind-set as you have.
