You mean Lokum - Turkish Delight.
We'll make a Turkallua out of you yet my dear.

Lokumia and lokoumades are 2 entirely different things. I thought you had these in Turkey too?

What would a Lurucadi know?

Well this is why I asked if he has them in Turkey, cause if you don't know the difference between loukoumia and loukoumades then you're not from around here.

Having joked about the Lurucadi's we also have to bear in mind the proper transliteration of certain words.

lokum/lokma they both can mean 'a mouthful'.

lokum is the Turkish delight/Loukoumia/lokoumia.

Lokma is the sticky fried 'dough' kept in syrup/ Oracles loukoumades.

Not easy, but hearing the way they sound you cannot mistake them.

You forgot to add that they are finger licking good.
How much are we charging to teach our greek cousins some culture D. Hope it is not on a free be.

Now that the Obama's compressive Health Care Plan has become law of the land, no thanks to the Republicans, any and all praise will ONLY go to the Democrats for years to come, if in fact the Health Care Plan will benefit Americans as it was plan to do, just as the Social Security and Medicare has. This will be a huge political wave that the democrats can ride for many years to come, so how will the Republicans save themselves politically from such a fall out by them refusing to support Obama's Heath Care bill. Not ONE republican in the Senate or the House voted for this bill. Well, they may now end up having to support the Armenian Genocide bill that will be voted on by the Congress soon so not to be seen as "pro Genocide" if they do not support the Democrats, even though in general, there are just as many Republicans supporting the Armenian Genocide bill as Democrats. However, any Republican who does not vote on the AG bill, will not only be seen as anti Health Care for Americans, but also be seen as pro Genocide of the Armenians, as unfair as it may be with such labels, but that's politics for you. Therefore, I predict that the Armenian Genocide bill will pass in the Congress by a large margin when the bill comes up to be voted on in the near future.!

It would have been a fine thing if it was a health plan but it is not. It's a compalsory insurance system lining the pockets of insurance companies similar to our car insurance policies. What a shame.

It's is a plan to ensure that no one is left uninsured, denied insurance or dropped coverage for any reason, and at the same time the Health Care service remains private where one can have access to it right away, unlike where you may have to wait for many months to be treated as the case is in the UK for non life threatening illness or conditions. The government will provide financial help where needed just so that medical coverage is available to all, as the case is here in Switzerland. We too need to have private medical coverage for everyone and do not have a National Heath system, as the case is in many European countries.

With all its financial constraints, our NHS which is free at the point of delivery is the envy of the world. Couldn't US afford it? like hell. It was the big boys telling the president to get stuffed, and you know it. It is no good pretending otherwise Kicks. US Democracy? they can keep it.
