It's funny you say that because we feel totally innocent since 1570 when something terrible happened...

I cannot believe you keep mentioning 1571 as if it has any relevance to 2010 - get real mate.

This is the reality of Cyprus today, not the theoritical debates about legal nuances and political shenanigans-coming back to this side only made me feel worse with flash new cars and vulgar new buildings everywhere....The Cyprus we older people yearn for is gone,it's remnants slowly crumbling away with the remains of Varosha!I really suggest the political leaders on both sides should be forced to take a tour together around the whole island-and then wake-up to reality instead of insulting our intelligence any more!

Let's not forget the blame is solely on your community for these sad state of affairs.

Surley us TCs also have some blame on these matters?

No, I accept no blame whatsoever, we are totally innocent of all that has happened since 1960.

There you go Banana, another one of your fans.

NG, you will be very popular in the Banana camp.

Oh Bir, dear Bir, come see what you MFs really think instead of all the crap you keep posting.

NG, you can keep Banana and all like him, he doesn't belong with this own community any more, he has made that abundantly clear.

Just make sure you circumsize him so he can jolly well stay there.

I am never too far away,B25...do not fear

I keep telling you history is a process...It develops along a linear line following cause and effect...If there was no demand for ENOSIS with Greece, there would have been no demand for TAKSIM...Full stop...So the beginning of all evil is there, unless you want to go back 400 years like GR and say that was the beginning, and that would be right too...But there is nothing we can do about the events of 1571...We can however do something about the events of the 1950s onwards...AS Bananiot keeps telling you,had you acceptd the (albeit imperfect) Annan Plan back in 2004 Varosia would have been returned to its rightful owners, and many many things would've changed in Cyprus...But just like in 1950,1963,and 1974 the averge GC still believes you can get your own way with the TCs without making any worthwhile compromises....You have been proved wrong 3 times in living memory. when are you going to learn your lessons???? :(

I was going to ask you that question myself! 440 years on Cyprus would’ve been more than enough time for anyone else to just blend in and become a Cypriot but in the case of the so called “Turkish Cypriots” it just hasn’t happened so there’s something definitely wrong here…

Your community often reminds everyone that they cannot and/or will not blend in with Cypriots and insist on a segregated existence (from enclaves, to the occupied territory, to proposed dual states, etc) but given Cyprus’ small size and overwhelming GC majority and land ownership, this incompatible minority should have the common decency to return to Turkey where they belong and cut the crap!

The moment the GCs tied their leaders hands in negotiating is the moment they walked away, the world has seen that.

These are what one would expect to hear from the likes of Idi Amin and Robert Mughabi. You're forgetting you are now European. You are a donkey with a race horse saddle

Billy boy, you keep going on about abandoning the talks, may I ask if your were abandoned in your life. You seem to have an obsession with it.
Regarding the Talks, Eroglu will give you exactly what you have been asking for. Negotiations without time frames. Isn't that what you were after. Pray that Eroghlu comes to power cause that's what you is gettin.
