Yes it should be a very good night!

Hey Gasman, how about introducing me to some of these mega rich mates of yours???

This party, a wedding in Xylofagou, that would be in the Megaro would it???

If your shoes squeak, that means they haven't been paid for!

Just home now accompanied by loud rolls of thunder and the curtains blowing out of the windows! Gawd I thought the weather was cheering up.

Had a GREAT night. Cyprus at its best.

Where you can see 60+ yr old women showing the young 'uns how to dance! And they look graceful and somehow sensual too.

Where you can fit 500 people into one room and ply them with free booze and not one fight or argument breaks out.

Where men can dance with each other without looking as if they fancy each other! They just look like really good mates.

Where you don't know who the little kids belong to, because everyone takes care of them.

And the food. Mmmmm

And the band - wonderful.

Saw the best Cypriot dancing tonight that I've ever seen. They must teach them from birth. Even some 8 yr olds are experts!

And HOW DO the blokes manage to consume so much booze and do that fancy dancing and twirling without falling over?

Anyway I am in a VERY good mood. Really glad I made the effort and made some nice new friends too.

Oh and one of the highlights - well after midnight some aged Cypriot man whipped out what we call in the UK a 'penny whistle' and produced the most melodic and haunting music from it! Magic.

That explains all the funny noises coming out of most houses in the occupied territory... :?
