Enraged Eroglu is Making Threats!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby BirKibrisli » Sat Feb 27, 2010 2:37 pm

DT...I spend years talking about the wrongs of my side...I think I am emminently qualified to have a few digs at the likes of GR and Oracle, for being such deniers and historical revisionists...But I am surprised that you are also playing their game...Our losses are bigger so yours don't count etc...Pain and suffering are not zero sum equations...You don't suffer less because only 2 people died from your family as opposed to 5 from another family...Most people here are making this comparison all the time...It is the most destructive of ALL THE INSENSITIVITIES...It says you only have empathy and compassion for your side...Couldn't care less about other people's pain and suffering...Then you expect the other to trust you...

Yes, what I said yesterday - its all the time - who murdered and raped the most, which side lost the most.

You cannot base who should benefit the most in future on who suffered the most in the past.

Russia lost more people during WWII than other nations. They were not given preferential treatment because of it or told it entitled them to decide what was going to happen afterwards or to take their pick of all the countries that had been involved.

It matters when one side, your side, decides such was the enormity of the danger the TCs were under, that Turkey was within its rights to come and protect the TCs.

And, that is the game you play all the time, Bir!

The issue is not about the past, but about what is STILL happening TODAY.

The “Turkish Cypriots” (read implanted Turkish trouble makers who are anything but Cypriot) are to this day aiding and abetting the Turkification of Cyprus full steam!

Enough said…

The "solution" you are referring to aimed for the Turkification of Cyprus and THAT is why it was rejected.

This is not a game,Orcle...The danger to the TCs from that EOKA thug Sampson was so great that Turkey was withing her rights,no,she had the obligation, to come and protect the TCs...You can dismiss it all you like, but you won't find one TC who lived through those times who would say otherwise...

Taken with what you said to DT. above -- we can only assume you are blind to your own (massive) hypocrisy!

At the end of the day, the “Turkish Cypriots” are unable and/or unwilling to become Cypriot and that’s the crux of the problem.

First and foremost, being Cypriot is about acknowledging and embracing the indigenous culture, and not trying to refashion it into something that resembles Anatolia!
