Enraged Eroglu is Making Threats!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Gasman » Fri Feb 26, 2010 10:56 pm

I can't see an actual 'threat' in the statement. Seems to just say if these current talks don't result in a settlement agreeable to both sides (and it seems as if they won't from what both sides are demanding) then that's it. No more talks and I assume things stay as they are for the foreseeable future.

Which is how they've been for most of the lives of most Cypriots in Cyprus today I imagine.

I haven't met any GCs who want to and intend to go back and live in the North (or even many who ever did live there even if they had land or property there). The property question has now been shown to be able to be settled in the Courts.

Not dumb enough to allow an aggressive country at war with itself to guarantee security and have influence in running of the island's affairs - through people whose first allegiance is to themselves as a group, rather than to the island and its citizens as a whole.

Why should I talk to them? Do you volunteer to talk to murderers, rapists, thieves and other criminals who are staking out from reach of the long arm of the law?

Well I talk to lots of GCs too! And they are accused of all those things as well lol! And I come from one of the biggest cities in the world where I happily talked to people of all nationalities. No one runs up to you hissing 'don't listento/speak to him(or even read what he writes) because he is a Turk!' like they do on here lol!

The worn phrase 'you need to get out more' springs to mind. Out of this forum and into REAL life! Recently you said you spent so much time here you don't even have time to check other internet sites or discussion forums! That's a very closed world you inhabit. One of your earlier comments made me wonder if you even read the Cypriot newspapers (and I'm not telling you which comment it was - I am enjoying seeing it there!)

You aren't one of the die hard GCs who doesn't even live in Cyprus are you?
