I have seen it before where chefs approach restaurant owners about working in there kitchens and offer the specials out, giving the owner a cut of course...

Some of the small bars let you run their kitchen you get the food money they get the booze money, little or no rent but you have to buy everything ..

Yes. I knew a couple of pubs in the Tourist Area in Limassol where they did that. Left a solitary barmaid to run the pub and let someone else loose in the kitchen so that they could offer food without having to bother to buy or cook it (lazy arsed ex pat Brits in both cases and lucky they didn't get robbed blind)

But I think it is easier to find that sort of slot if you are over here and do the legwork, asking around.
