What is that “reality of Cyprus”?

GR! You bloody know what the reality is...I will say it for the last time...Cyprus is divided...The TCs have their own state, albeit not recognised by anyone but Turkey...Turkey has 40,000 soldiers on Cyprus...If you want Turkish soldiers to withdraw and Cyprus reunited the GCs have to make major concessions...No amount of EU pressure, warmongering or insults will change this reality...Take your head out of the sand and have a good look around...There will be 500,000 "Cyprus Turks" breathing down your necks pretty soon...And the very real possibility of negotiating a solution with the militant Islamic Republic of Turkey, within 20 years...From the TCs to the GCs it will be :Goodbye and good luck!!!

I do NOT want Cyprus “reunited” but LIBERATED, as I do not accept any of the twisted terminology in use that only serves to cloud reality, and would NEVER bow to the enemy’s blackmails while the only concession I would ever consider is to not torture them before killing them when the time comes to remove the Turkish cancer from Cyprus once and for all.

We will NEVER forget...

Torture and killing to remove the Turkish cancer. So you favour genocide GR - we are all very fortunate that your opinions are probably restricted to a handful of crazies. Who are you heroes?

GR does not have any heroes, he has 16 volentears who will joing him in his war. He is their hero.
Unless ofcourse you count the donkeys in Karpas. Here is a picture of their last meeting.

GR is the one on the left looking a bit dejected lonley and isolated. There may have been a coup de ta and he may have lost power in the group.

Blimey! That's the most Karpaz donkeys I've ever seen in one place! Only ever seen one or two before and sometimes not seen any for days.

How old is that photograph?

Re: US does not back Turkish positions - Clinton

paliometoxo wrote:WASHINGTON - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Wednesday at the Senate that ''we strongly support the continuing negotiations under UN auspices for a bizonal, bicommunal resolution on Cyprus,'' and noted that the US did not ascribe to Turkish positions.

Clinton was replying to a question by US Senator for New Jersey Robert Menendez concerning statements by US Ambassador to Turkey James Jeffrey in a newspaper interview that Turkey has ''security concerns on Cyprus''.

She noted that the ''we have been heartened by some of the intense consultations'' between the Greek Cypriot and the Turkish Cypriot leadership, noting however that ''there is a long way to go.''

''And I think that, I can’t speak for our Ambassador, but I assume that he was stating the opinion of the Turkish government. That is something that we do not ascribe to, because we want to see the entire Cyprus situation resolved, but we certainly understand that is the stated position of the Turkish government, not the American government,'' she added.

Senator Menendez a few days ago at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing:

On the issue of Cyprus, Menendez asked, “What would you, as the ambassador, do if you were confirmed as it relates to Turkey’s position on Cyprus? It has been our view that this should be a reunited, bi-zonal, bi-communal confederation. It is the view of the president of the United States. But yet, we have [Turkish Prime Minister] Erdogan and his government continuing to advocate that there are two states on the island—a position that is diametrically contrary to our position. What would you do in moving Turkey on what has been an incredibly long standing division of the island?”
