On the other hand, if the USA had fully backed Turkish positions, the TRNC would have gained international recognition along with the post-1974 title deeds that it issued.

You’re assuming that whenever Turkey is NOT militarily attacked for doing something wrong, it’s because everyone agrees with her behavior!

You verify what I keep saying… that Turks ONLY understand the stick! It’s the only language they know!

Right. Wasn't it how we managed to save innocent TCs from murders?

What innocent TCs? If these criminals were innocent they’d be in Turkey not Cyprus!

And what murders were they? Why don't you tell us about them?

with violence and threat of war they would probably step in, but in cyprus there is no violence no killings both sides get along fine.. ( mostly ) apart from the partitionists on your side and the idiot gcs on this side who say death to turks and so on. so the us would not need to step in, plus they have nothing to really gain from doing so

:? I don't know what on earth you're doing in the CyProb...

It’s just the difference between “binding” and “non-binding” UN resolutions.

Non-Binding resolutions simply dictate international policy, whereas Binding resolutions also include a compliance timeframe and punishment.

When are you going to tell us about these TC murders that prompted the Turkish “intervention”?

Is this gonna take long? :?

So, coup that placed Sampson as President was for what exactly? Was he going to have afternoon tea with denktas whilst listening to David Hamilton show and solve all the problems out without any bloodshed. Yeah right.
