TC Right to Healthcare in Govt. controlled areas

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

According to current relevant post, from 2003 until 2009 the government spent 32 million for health care for siblings Turkish "Cyprus" (!!!).

And these 32 million, is for Health care. If you extrapolate that and the dozens of messages of protest, we receive daily from ordinary citizens for yperpronomia who have given to Turkish brothers, as the last letter we got that:"In a famous college in Nicosia Greek Cypriot pay 8 thousand euros, while Turkish study FREE in the sameindustry.

Then we thought about how much everyone pays the state, in addition to these 32 million, and practically every taxpayer to be maintained "brothers" our Turks "Cyprus" (!!!). And at the same time poor families Greek starving, and taking off with barely enough to live without as saying several government agencies to qualify for some sponsorship. Why? As did the great crime of being Greek in Greek island. On an island with rights primarily Turkish Cypriot brothers and secondly that every illegal immigrant, but not legal residents of this island.

These are words of appreciation to our brothers and sisters??? Who came to the island by force, which collaborated with the British colonialists, causing the most horrific torture, carrying concealed weapons since 1958 and organized in a para-state groups that made tourkantarsia in 1963, which in 1974 made the bridgehead Attila, who keep our homes, which ... that ..........

Oh, I was waiting for a TC to refute these claims, and for one to even claim the embargos meant that there are no decent doctors up north or that Turkrey provides for us and we have no need for you ...

So why would a TC risk life and limb to seek medical help in the RoC?

Perhaps in the UK we need to adopt your way of thinking for foreigners living abroad but using NHS facilities ??

Where do you get your treatment Eric ??

Remember its how long you live in the UK not where you pay your taxes ??

I'm not domiciled in Cyprus so your assumption is wrong, but whenever I am there I have comprehensive health insurance for the whole family. And in any case there are protocols in place covering EU nationals visiting other member states.

I see the British High Commission is asking Brits who live abroad to register this information online, instead of the old fill a card in approach. The announcement also states that this information may be shared by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office with other Government departments and public authorities. Sounds like a way of denying ex-pats NHS services after they have lived out of the UK for more than 3 months, which is the law, but so far not really enforceable.

Outraged of Aglangia.

I would imagine that you must have an RoC identity card to qualify, so not all of the above are eligible.

The CY Mail article linked to in the OP makes the ref .... that to get hold of an RoC Health Card, an RoC ID card or RoC Passport is required.
