I'm a great admirer of Stephen Fry and disagree with just about everything Talisker said about him.

Thanks for that, I'd like to watch the other speakers too...

He may be a bender and a tad odd but, I am informed, he can read ancient Greek flawlessly.

I'm a great admirer of Stephen Fry and disagree with just about everything Talisker said about him.

If you really require further confirmation of Stephen Fry's mediocrity then I suggest you read one of his novels - I bought 'Making History' from a second hand bookshop a few years ago and, believe me, it is absolute garbage.

Look at his acting - in Blackadder he shouts and that's about it, and in Jeeves and Wooster he pretty much plays himself.

Nope, sorry, I'm not convinced he is anything more than someone with average abilities who has been given more and better opportunities than most others probably due to his Oxbridge background and cemented position as a media darling.

Changed my opinion.

Did you use the DVD's to teach yourself English. Sometimes you sound like you are in the 1930's.
