If no solution is found... what's next?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

FOr starters you began your post with announcing that your great compromise will follow.

You then posted this

Disarnament of National Guard (no mention of mehmetchik)
DIsarnament of Reservists (no mention of tc security forces)
EOKA-B members brought to justice (no mention of TMT)
SOmething about Apoel and Chelsea
ALL Settlers to be given nationality (one of my favourites)
We pay for 100,000tc's to return to Cyprus
We pay so that your economy matches ours

I'm only afraid what will happen when you ask for our compromises if these are yours

So it seems we have a central police force that is 'clear' of pol/en that cannot see every person as equal by their own choise at first and by removing those that prove not capable of doing a fair job as time goes by

there are no armies... what next?

bruv you still have not given me any suggested compromise

ok I have one and it is a huge compromise from us because it is such a huge issue so we expect other compromises on other issues:

completly no army
complete disarment
disarment of the national guard reservist as well
I may have repeated myself above but hey you get my point.
Automatic weponds completely banned 10 year sentence for violator
stricked gun laws, 10 year sentense for violators.
eoka b murderers brought to justice (when identified of course- 30of whic have been)
10 year sentence for promoting racist behavour - for example recent student marches in the roc where " the only good Turk is a dead Turk" or
the apol Chelsea game with big flags saying Cyprus is Greek, plus various chants (although I am taking second hand information about the chanting)

It is very lucky that your sugested "compromises" mean absolutely nothing, lest you end up with continued status quo!

Very lucky you are indeed....

You are on drugs. Are you really such an utter plonker.

I need a doc, I have split my side, and wet meself, I can stop laughing, holy shit now its coming out of my arse, helllpppppp! Mummy.

Now I have heard it all.

As for armies, any idiot that thinks a rich and properous country about to strike oil.gas does not need an army, needs his head examined FFS.

The Army would be the CNG and would be made up of all cypriots, end of.

No you are the risk thats why guaratees are necessary you are not to be trusted

VP, the only guarantees and securities you will ever need to be safe in Cyprus from the revenge seeking GCs, is to have a Swiss girlfriend to protect you. It worked for me when I went to the RoC couple of years ago, therefore it is "bullet proof" to work for you and for all TCs. I'm sure both you and Bir will attest to the above suggestion as being very real.!

DT sorr I meant the same for the tc side as well in terms of wepons army etc, sorry I did not mention that.

As for settlers there is a very good reason for that and I will expand on that later as I am posting from a mobile, but remember what I am talking about is the rmoving of a redline to us which is huge and would take a lot or pursuation on our side.

Firstly, no serious nation in the world can ever be fully demilitarised. Border security concerns, illegal immigration, and protecting a vast oil and gas rich EEZ would dictate that Cyprus will indeed required Armed Forces which include small naval and air elements.

Secondly, you said that the RoC should pay for the return of 100,000 TCs. All ow me to remind you that there are 450,000 GCs in the Diaspora, many of whom left Cyprus as a result of the invasion. Will Turkey pay for their return to Cyprus? Or don't the GCs count.

Thirdly, the RoC has already made massive concessions by proposing to allow 50,000 Turkish Settlers to stay on humanitarian grounds. It is not possible for the RoC to allow any more, because Turkey's Colonisation of Cyprus is a blatant attempt at altering the island's demographics. This is a war crime under the Geneva Conventions.

As for strong laws against racial vilification, strong anti gun laws, and bringing any EOKA B and TMT thugs to justice, I have no issue with and neither would most other GCs I would presume.

Like I said I am posting from a mobile but will pick this up tonight and explian all my points bur until then why don't you guys suggest compromises to rmove guarntorship- which remember is a huge red line for us- maybe the same kind of consession as you granting independance to the trnc as a seperate state which as I understand is something alot of you will never do or do under extremely favourable circumstances - well that is how we feel about our guarentor.
