Probably a lot to do with the income generated from Banner advertising ( ie Estate Agents!!! which appear at the top of each thread. This would make that forum more attractive to a prospective purchaser.
Therefore the higher value
I'm sure if admin on here sold Advertising the same as on 44 then the value of this forum would rise

I think it is based on number of hits and has nothing to do with any advertising. My personal site has no advertising at all but it has a value i.e. potential for advertising based on number of hits.

You could be right elko

44 does have more hits i would imagine due to most of its members being carpetbaggers who do not work for a living and seem to spend a lot more time on the forum over there.

Whereas this forum I think I would be right in saying has a majority of members who are out working most of the day and can only get on to post at certain times. Therefore having fewer hits.

I just Checked out my website which has no advertising at all and it has a value of $5500 but it only averages between 15 - 20 hits a day (it is a pretty specialised area)

So maybe a combination of a lot of things

okk people.

cyprus 44 is a web site who contain different services.. you cant compare it to cyprus forum for one little reason, cyprus forum is part of cyprus net, so if you wanna do this right compare the value or no=umbers of hits between cyprus44 and cyprus net !!

My foot!!! I t is almost impossible to have any sensible discussion on this forum. The lunatics and the fanatics are so quick to degenerate the discussion into namecalling and downright obsenities. I will not call it a vanguard of free speech but I can call it a forthress of something else. Yes you guessed it
