says the armenian. and Azeris do not accept a solution based on armenian conditions mr. gavuryan

On yer bike you foreigner. This is a matter that concerns Cypriots.

says the man who thinks Ege is not a male name.  defol rum

If I remember correctly, I said Ege is a girls name. She was the wife of a good friend. I did not deny that it could be a mans name.

Now behave yourself or stick to the topic in hand. Cyprus has nothing to do with the Azeris or Armenians, unless they are Cypriot Armenians - originally kicked out of Asia minor.

Do many of your friends use Greek names?

rum you are very much the outsider. Girne is Turkish land. Seems like you won't be moving to KKTC at least for the next 5 years. KKTC is under our guarantee and you and your evil south cypriot friends can't change that. and yes you denied Ege was a male name with your perfect "mother language" knowledge.

Having talked about origins, would you kindly enlighthen us where your origins are ?

Cypriot. Turkish speaking Cypriot as far back as 1571. Before that, its anybodies guess. In 1571, most of the Yenicheris were left to garrison the island till more settlers were sent from Asia minor. These Yenicheris were never of Turkish origin. There are not enough records toshow this, but by studying 'types' you can see a big variance between the Turks of Turkey and Cypriots. There will be some who will claim that they are 100% Turkish, but that would be foolhardy.
Dont forget that after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, from the Balkan wars to the second WW, millions of moslem refugees were forced to leave their ancestral homes and ended up in Turkey. Can you guarantee that you are not descended from these unfortunates? Do you think that you youself is 100% Turkish? You better pull your head out of the sand.

I would be proud to be an Azeri, Uzbek,Turkmen. We are under one roof anyway. Long live TURAN from Girne to Astana. (I am not sure you know what the word Turan means :? )

When I read Ziya Gokalp, you was not even a spark in your fathers eye. Dont overestimate yourself, and dont look down on everybody else like some Greek Cypriots do. Now run along and behave yourself.

I noticed an improvement on your forum behaiviour. Congratulations. Please keep it up.

Kyrenia is occupied by Turkey and its army but, according to international law and the courts, which decides these matters in the 21st century, the town belongs to the people who were displaced there in 1974 - and their descendants.

Under your occupation you mean, like most of continental Europe was under the Nazis, until it was liberated, and the Third Reich was dismantled.

Wrong, individual property rights are totally different from state/town ownership, time you grasped that we have a stake in state ownership.

The country belongs to its citizens therefore this island belongs to TCs just as much as it does GCs, never forget that. Thats why you have some of it and so do we, in the state sense the fact that it is now divided is does not diminish our rights to state ownership.

It belongs to all its people however each individual chooses to categorise themselves.
