Malapapa - Bir, the better posters on CF

Postby georgios100 » Fri Feb 19, 2010 2:23 am

Being relatively new on this forum, I would like to publish my findings on who are the better posters on CF. This is my personal opinion.
I chose to select one poster from "either side" for obvious reasons. Here is a quick summary of the selected members.

1. Malapapa.

A very interesting character, master of the English language, polite, with intelligent posts and quite informative, I might say. The man has class and backs his arguments with knowledge and wisdom. A pleasure to have him onboard.

2. Bir

Equally smart, bold responses and always to the point. Bir has manners and a wide understanding of the issue at hand. One can have a constructive conversation with him based on mutual respect. Thanks for your participation Bir.

Surely, all the remaining members are indeed the backbone of CF, with questions, answers, comments and arguments which can be quite entertaining at times. All of us, each one in his/hers way, contribute to this wonderful Cyprus-Forum. I thank you for having me here.

Oh you should have made this a 'who is the nicest' poll! To go alongside the 'who is the most annoying' poll.

Goodness Georgios, I've always admired Canada and the astuteness of its people.

Thanks for your kind words about me in this post; a post which, forgive me, I approve of half-heartedly.

When you say someone from "either side" I'm glad you added the speech marks.

Please note, I take only the Cypriot side so, for balance, perhaps you should have chosen someone other than myself as a match for Bir; for Bir is a champion of the TCs at the expense of all other Cypriots.

When you say someone from "either side" I'm glad you added the parenthesis.

Please note, I take only the Cypriot side so, for balance, perhaps you should have chosen someone other than myself as a match for Bir; for Bir is a champion of the TCs at the expense of all other Cypriots.

Hmmm, not sure I can answer that... either in a PM or in public.

I honestly don't think there's a serious poster here who takes the side of the GCs at the expense of all other Cypriots. Unless someone can demonstrate otherwise, perhaps no one deserves to be matched with Bir.

A well measured statement by Malapapa. A dose of ambiguity is detected when the word "serious" is noted in Italic format... (see above).

Awaiting Bir to respond.
