Yeah well - CYF might have a few more contributors if she'd 'wind her neck in' a bit. But I doubt she'd want that. It's almost a stage provided solely for her histrionics at times.

It was set up to find out who (in the opinion of the membership of the forum) was the most annoying member.

You are, in my humble opinion. Mainly because of your infantile style of posting which I have elaborated on at length before. And because you misquote people and are constantly accusing anyone who doesn't agree with you of being stupid. And discounting and pooh poohing any document or even any posting that did not originate from a GC source.

I have you to thank for singlehandedly opening my eyes to the TC POV about all this. When I joined this forum I admit I was 100% planted firmly on the RoC/GC side in respect of all matters relating to the CyProb and, in particular to the matter of 'property'.

I am sure I am not the only person you have half 'converted' with your vitriolic and insulting and childish multi coloured huge RANTS.

It was a matter of reading some of your vitriol and thinking 'hang on - that can't be right', or - 'hand on - it cannot be as black and white or simple as that'.

So thank you for making my research into all this more 'rounded'.

I used to be a thorn in the side of every N.Cyp forum. I now have some quite good pals on them.

All thanks to you and your obsessive and hate filled manner of posting.

And I've discovered lots of stuff that I would LIKE to debate but wouldn't bother to post about it here because you would jump on it instantly and dismiss it because it is not all 100% from a GC source!

2 separate things.

If you have only now opened your eyes to the TC point of view then its about time. EVeryone involved in the cyprob should be open to both sides point of view. As long as you remember that these are just that....points of views.

Now as far as you researching, then I hope you've been researching facts and realities (some still around till this day.) In which case it doesn't matter much what you've been reading from Oracle, a fact should be a fact. I hope you don't mean you've been researching points of views??

If you need any starting points for better research let me know and I'll be very happy to help out whenever i get some time.

DT, most of the GCs on this forum seem to get stuck at 1974 and cannot see beyond that. Something that does puzzle me is this. If they feel so vehemently about that, why have they accepted the status quo for so long?

I have received varying answers to this question from lots of GCs. Do you have an answer to it.

I have always been aware of both points of view. I said my 'sympathies' lay with the GCs up until now.

I could summarise what I see as both points of view as told to me by both GCs and TCs I've discussed this with. But the reaction here would be so predictable it would be a waste of time.

I suppose you must be aware that a lot of GCs will tell 'outsiders' or 'foreigners' if you prefer, stuff they would not DARE voice to a fellow GC. They will tell you that too! And they'll tell you stuff they will make you swear on your life not to repeat about what they really believe.

As they say Cyprus is a 'village' really.

Well, lets reverse this, what would you have done? Go to war? Personally I believe with the limited talent for statesmanship both sides have had over the years, this is the only position we could possible be in right now. A GC side that has gradually eroded from its original positions trying to keep up with a neanderthal negotiating partner in Denktash. (If you're not aware of denktash's negotiating tactics it involves an extreme position i.e all settlers remaining on the island, followed by a lesser extreme position i.e only 100,000 settlers remaining.)

try me, this problem isn't about sympathies. Its about wrongs of the past and injustice's of the present providing no secure future for anyone.

A very odd statement. Can you give me an example?

They say the same about New York.

I had already voted for YFred, and said so. I seriously hope, since you know me a little, that you did not ever believe I would vote against a fellow GC. You also know I have no other accounts. But, I also know you are battling with daemons, and at your wish, have left you alone to find your way. You know where I am, when you are ready to come back into the fold.

We're all learning ....

What , you voted for me woman !!

You know, I hadn't even noticed you on the list

I was mysteriously, compellingly and irrestibly drawn to cast my ostrakon upon him who we should no longer speak evil of (being the dearly departed :D ).

Who departed?!? YFred?!?

I wouldn't wish such pain on my dog never mind my enemy.

I can see that you have mastered the art of making a promise and then coming up with excuses for why the promise should not be kept, why the conditions for your actions have not been met, or why the promise didn't actually ever apply to begin with.

You're not secretly a turk are you??

Otherwise, you default to option 3:
(3) Confirm that you are not in fact a grown man as widely suspected, but a puerile child prone to making hasty promises and lacking an understanding of the consequences of one's words.

Fred Anesti

I just realised how much she loves me, but unfortunately the vacant 7th position in the wives department has been snapped up, so she will have to wait for a vacant roll.
