roc passports - the who and who has one...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

roc passports - the who and who has one...

Postby boomerang » Wed Feb 17, 2010 11:50 am

The news comes after the Turkish newspaper, Star embarrassed politicians in the north by printing their names and pictures, and the names of family members who hold Republic of Cyprus passports. Among those exposed were hardline ‘Prime Minister’ Dervis Eroglu's daughters, ‘Parliamentary Chairman’ Hasan Bozer and his wife, and the Turkish-Cypriot ‘ministers’ of education, finance, health and interior.

and the cat is out of the bag...it blows vips theory that the roc is another country...

next step...moving to the roc...

Cyprus Star is a joke of a newspaper. It's the mouthpiece of property developer Ali Safa and he uses it to publicise his own "big fish, small pond" agenda.

If there's any truth in elements of the story the sourcing or corroboration will never be known. If it hasn't simply been made up it could be based on info from TC officials manning checkpoints into the south who claim to have seen the passports. With the amount of backstabbing going on everywhere I doubt any RoC source has leaked info to Ali Safa. :)

hahaha eroglu's daughter... brings a smile to my face. How ficked up is that? You say that newspaper is a joke, well are they such a joke that they would publish something like that without evidence? Take them to court then and prove they are liars if you say they are... it doesn't matter who the newspaper benefits or is benefited from... facts are facts

Absolutely! Spot on! And, in the not so distant past, the great Medview Properties Ali (who I believe resides in the UK - someone might correct me on this?) has slagged off ex pat Brit buyers in the TRNC who complain about anything at all!

Still some of the ex pats take heart and comfort from his words ... unbelievable really.

Funny how certain forum members defend the actions of these people, when their principles disappear when it suits them.

What a gaffe - that they would prefer RoC citizenship over Turkish!!!!

What is the matter with you people. Why shouldn't Eroglu's daughter have a passport she wants? Is she responsible for what her dad did? Like some forum members who's grand parents did some cleansing of their own? Do they deserve an roc passport?
