ATOL/ABTA and the "TRNC"

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

According to the above columnist, the exact words spoken by Christofias were:

"I as Cyprus president apologise to Turkish Cypriots for what happened between 1963 and 1974."

He regretted the harm the GC fanatics caused on the TC's during the 60's.

I expect he also regrets that Talat hasn't been man enough to reciprocate.

what did your leader actually say?

The PResident of Cyprus said he regretted any atrocities carried out against TC's by GC fanatics.

It fills me with joy. Was it before or after he met the eoka men after his ellection?
You actually think that was a sincere appology, my dog Karabas could do better than that. How fcukin simple are you chaps?

He made a very stupid mistake because the TCs then went round saying...

“See… they confessed! They caused all the problems!”

So it goes to show that public admissions should be avoided because there’s no guarantee that the other party will appreciate it and also do the right thing, especially when you’re dealing with uneducated and corrupt fools like Turkish Cypriots!

It’s what I said a few years ago…

Just whack them on the head! It’s the ONLY language Turks understand.

Why don't you try apologising for being such a cretin, and then I'll judge whether it's sincere or not.

Take note GC's. This is the response of taking the first step to reconciliation. Take note and never forget this lesson. Nothing will ever be enough. The President apologises for the harm done by his side and not only is there no pressure on Talat to reciprocate but the President gets ridiculed on top of it all.
