But to come back to the coffee grounds readings... have an Aunt who is very good at it .... in an entertaining sort of way, quite a performer with her readings, lot of fun, and like someone says above, she tends to predict things happening in threes.

Everyone has a subconscious and can smell the danger ahead. Theres nothing wrong with that. But getting into details about what might happen? COME ON give me a break.

Here's a scientific take on why the future, at least on the scale of the very small, is fundamentally unpredictable....

Until about a century ago classical theories of fundamental atomic theory described particle behaviour in a mechanistic way,in a clockwork sort of way, so, in theory, if we could work out where everything was in the present, and how it behaved over time, we could predict future positions (given enough computing power).

These classical theories have been over-taken by quantum mechanical theories which (amongst other things) prove that, on the scale of the very small, there is a deal of uncertainty about such things as the positions and velocities, the energy levels and other variables of fundamental particles. We could never determine the starting positions cos of this intrinsic fuzziness in the world of the very small .....

So if we don't know where things are now, in the present, how can we predict their future positions .. and the Future?

BC, you been smoking again??

Gave up pot in the seventies mate, but an over-indulgence may have left effects....

Could go on about chaos theory, another theory which casts a lot of doubt about futures predictions .... but it's getting late. :D

Mate I am fully aware of the Chaos theory, it is in action in the cyprob pages, total chaos if you ask me. No predictions possible all sorts of outcomes and a complete mess..... In a word Chaos

Gosh! Never thought of applying Chaos Theory to CyProb!!!

Wonder whether an n-body theory approach might be fruitful as well? Turkey could be one body, the tissies and grissies a second and third, the anglo-americans a fourth ....

This could take some time ....... I'll be back ........ :D

Had a friend that was involved in a fraud case years ago, anyway he decided to go to a fortune teller. The fortune teller kept saying justice will be done, justice will be done. When the case came to court he got 2 years prison. I'm still laughing about it now.

I was going to see a fortune teller yesterday but she rang me and cancelled the appointment "due to unforseen circumstances."
