6 incidents spread over 6 and half years. That's just a normal Friday evening in Birmingham!

dont know about the rest of the island , but most trouble in paphos is in bar street, amazing there is minimal police prescence except for the music , which they dish out fines ....

Your statement does not make sense!

First you say there is minimal police presence and then you say they are there to dish out fines for music! :lol:

If Cyprus only has the occasional bar fight or 2, then you don't have anything to worry about!

Statistically, crime levels are very low, so perhaps the Cy Police are very good at their job. :D

speaking from experience ,i know when there is violence the police are absent, at 1 o`clock there is a large plain clothes amount dishing out fines to bars. This is bar street an area that attracts and generates alot of tourists.Personally not my cup of tea (beer) but the police know this area and only visit to collect revenue not ensure safety...

agreed too many foreigners, but they are spending money , they might be drunk and idiots but surely better to keep them in one area and police them, take their money and smile >>>
