Unless you have been in a coma since the 80s and just woke up, are they communist themselves? :?

ofcourse not i'm just making an example... but what if they were?!

Anyone who doesn't regret the passing of the Soviet Union has no heart. Anyone who wants it restored has no brains. -V. Putin

What?

let me make it clear... the point is this.... why do you not fear that they will take over the country? heck they'll be more in numbers than the TC's soon

Maybe you should come back to negotiate the gradual Turkification of Cyprus with the rest of the “Cypriot” fools… just make sure the process spreads out past your lifetime so that you won’t have to worry too much about what happens to the generations that come after you…

this is so sad.... 'turkification of cyprus' ...wow now that's a term you hear everytime people who share your believes run out of ways to support their sayings. This is the FEAR and HATRED people bestow in their hearts. You are talking about your fear of a minority that was always poorer, less educated in majority and had less oportunities in this country (this 3 interconnect) that you would or will ever have, taking over your country..... by which means are they gonna acomblish that?!

What did you actually think undemocratic and racist political arrangements like a BBF or BBC will ultimately bring... panacea?

How on earth does BBF and BBC stands for undemocratic and rasist arrangements ? especially when they are made by the people that are meant to follow those arrangements?

In the 21st century, anything other than a single, liberated, democratic, one-person one-vote, EU Republic is not worth the paper it’s written on!

A BBF/BBC is based on ETHNIC DIVISION and thus accommodates Greek and Turkish nationalisms, while rendering Cypriot nationalism impossible!

What more do you need to understand?

The answer is international law by going right back to these…

UN RESOLUTION 361 (1974)
http://www.un.int/cyprus/scr353.htm

UN RESOLUTION 541 (1983)
http://www.un.int/cyprus/scr541.htm

…and telling the world that if they’re GENUINE about democratic, one-person one-vote EU principals, then they should put their actions where their mouths are instead of proposing stupid things in clear contravention of the UN Charter in this day and age!

So what should i goverment do to ensure that the status quo doesn't stay as it is for too long to ensure that it's never gonna be too late to change things to how they used to be when RoC was formed?
Isn't after all the RoC position that no new state should be formed? but rather 2 unified federations that make up the RoC? no different name, no 'parthenogenesis' ?

Cyprus must make a global announcement (broadcast on ALL major networks 4-5 times a day) calling upon the international community and particularly the UN Security Council, to answer why a UN member sovereign republic is being denied/ignored from enjoying a democratic, one-person one-vote system in accordance with EU and UN principals, and that she will no longer participate in any further illegal rubbish to appease Turkey or anyone else, and that the Cyprus National Guard is standing by ready in case of an emergency to defend her territorial integrity in accordance with UN principals, etc, etc.

They MUST put decades-old international institutions in the spotlight before the whole world, by causing a MAJOR INTERNATIONAL SCENE to be heard!

Do you mean standing by to take the north part of the Island by force?
