Title deeds bid by government

Postby paliometoxo » Sat Feb 13, 2010 9:43 pm

LARNACA - Moves are under way to get title deeds for refugees who have buidt homes on Turkish Cypriot land.

Interior Minister Neoclis Sylikiotis said in Larnaca Saturday that they would also be seeking ways to allow the property to be inherited.
This would bring such refugees into line with other refugees who have already received title deeds.
Efforts will be made to negotiate with the Turkish Cypriot owners of the properties.

i think all of south should be doing this its good they are giving the tcs who own land back their land while gcs in the south have to fight ans spend years in court and the tc side still refuse after losing.. i hope trnc does something like this also instead of trying to sell our land.

Where do you guys get the impression that the ROC is giving land back to TCs. My dads family owns 50 donums near pathos he has being writing to different ROC departments since the 70's and has firstly been ignored, then told that it has been used by GC cypriot refugees, so he asked for rent he was then told that it would be settled after the cyprus solution,he has gone to the ombusman (woman) and she has says that my dad is right and has written to the relevant departments, she has set deadlines for the ROC to respond by which have all come and gone. So guys dont think the ROC respects the property rights of TCs because they dont.

Looks like VP is going backwards not a step ahead.

DTA, the RoC already has one of these, it is called the ECJ and the British Royal Courts. What more do you need. It has been tried and tested just for you, now whats your excuse. Oh and btw, these are in internationally recognised countries not puppet rogue states.

Have a nice day.

Personally, I’m VERY glad they don’t because I certainly wouldn’t appreciate TC double dipping!

If and when the invader is gone we can talk about your properties but until that time comes you should be ashamed of yourselves for even asking while aiding and abetting the invader!
