it is a part of the problem, if u suckers weren't so obsessed with the military then Greece wouldn't be so obsessed with defenses.

What is the difference between a Greek tank and a Turkish one

Answer the Turkish one has 5 forward gears and one reverse, The Greek one has one foward and 5 reverse.

Greece spends more, per capita, than the UK does,

with RoC not far behind.
Come on Guys, Greece and Turkey are both NATO countries and I think the UK has more "enemies" than Greece.

I agree with the alleged statement…

“Greece is forced to buy weapons because of the threats coming from Turkey”

…being a contributor to Greece’s financial woes but the saddest thing is that they are expensive hardware that never got used to solve the problem!

Had Greece shot down a Turkish jet or two years ago when the Turkish violations first commenced, then none of this useless buildup would’ve been necessary because Turkey would’ve cut the violating games ages ago!

The lesson to be learned here for Greece is that if you’re going to fork out vast sums of money to arm yourself then USE THE HARDWARE or you’re wasting your money and failing in your goal!

It’s similar to…

Q. What’s the difference between EOKA and the TMT?

A. The first bitch-slapped the second on all fronts until mummy had to come to save them!

Had Greece shot down a Turkish jet or two years ago, we wouldn't be having this discussion, because Greece would have ceased to exist a few days later.
So when are you guys going to get the CNG to practice what you preach?

That did happen and it did have an impact on Turkish expansionism. The same with the Sismik incident. Who knows how far the Turks would have gone otherwise

Because that's what your Turkish friends tell you? Did they tell you how proud they are that their "arch-enemy" is a country seven times smaller? Greece has been keeping those bloodthirsty generals in control for many years now protecting both Greece and Cyprus. Big words like the ones you posted mean nothing
