“Greece is forced to buy weapons because of the threats coming from Turkey”
…being a contributor to Greece’s financial woes but the saddest thing is that they are expensive hardware that never got used to solve the problem!
Had Greece shot down a Turkish jet or two years ago when the Turkish violations first commenced, then none of this useless buildup would’ve been necessary because Turkey would’ve cut the violating games ages ago!
The lesson to be learned here for Greece is that if you’re going to fork out vast sums of money to arm yourself then USE THE HARDWARE or you’re wasting your money and failing in your goal!
Had Greece shot down a Turkish jet or two years ago, we wouldn't be having this discussion, because Greece would have ceased to exist a few days later.
That's just your uneducated assumption.
1. It takes a lot more than a couple of downed jets for two countries to go to war.
2. Turkey doesn’t have the military means or know-how to terminate Greece's existence.
So when are you guys going to get the CNG to practice what you preach?
What would you like to see the CNG doing?
