How many Greek cypriot refugees on this forum would return to their land if it was in the control or some sort of TC government?

For a few reasons really. Firstly the TC and GC side use the number of GC 'allowed to return' to their homes in the north as one of the stumbling blocks for a solution... and I was just wondering what the actually feeling of the refugees were.

secondly I dont know many TC that want to return to the south unless the land that they have been given in the north is far less than that of their land in the south, and this has happened A LOT.. while others with little land in south have (because of their connections) been given stupid amounts of the land in North.... Has this happened in the south as well?

one thing i think would be a problem is on both sides that they have lived somewhere for over 35 years regardless of politics, would you want to re-locate now? I do not really remember my childhood home (uk) .If you were born in the early 70s it is possible that you were displaced and now have grandchildren in your new "home",thats 3 generations that you may have to move. Is this viable on either side?

You contradicting yourself here.

Has this happened in the south as well?

In the free areas of Cyprus the refugees were just given a single home to live in. And if that home was built on TC land the refugees were not even given the title deeds for it. They just stay there temporarily until they are allowed to return to their own homes.

Maybe I have not articulated well enough let me try again. The Only TCs that I know that want right of return to the property in the South are the ones that have been given far less land in the North then they own in the South.

When I say this has happened a lot, I mean the unjust distrubution of land in the north-- and I mean 'alot' as in this is not an isolated case... maybe I should choose my words more carefully - what do you take 'alot' to mean.
